From the 26th to the 31st October 2017
During five days we had the opportunity to work with 60 young people from Sävar and Arona : empowerment, sports, democracy, leadership and self confidence. The official junior handball teams of both cities met in Los Cristianos, Playa de Las Américas. This is going to be the first of many other projects in the future together.
We had the honor to have Alexandra Pascalidou, the famous Swedish reporter author of this video talking about Democracy and equality:
Her visit left a few intense moments like this ( sorry about my translation but she said so many interesting things in such a short time….it was a challenge):
The sessions started with some issues due to the level of English of some of the participants…..or the level of shyness of others 🙂 We could see how confidence and friendship was growing along the days of the project and here you have some the best moments we enjoyed:
